Saturday or Sadderday???

Yeah, it's Saturday again, or maybe for some it is Sadderday.

Sadderday (my own definition, LOL!)
(def.) sick, no gimmicks, very bad weather, no money, heartbroken

I still remember, when I was a kid, I always enjoy my Saturdays.
I think most of us did.
Most kids define Saturday as playtime, sleeping time, family day,
movie day and most of all >NO GOING TO SCHOOL DAY!

I love waking up the next day, knowing it's Saturday.
I always make sure I maximize my time playing outside.
(for me Saturday is the best day ever!)
That's how simple life is, for a child.
However, as we grow up, simple life is one of the things we leave in our children's closet. We are now starting to see life, like grown ups do.

We are now exposed to different things, variety of very tempting things.
We are now learning to WANT. To always want.
Always wanting more. Always wanting something. Always wanting.
You may not agree with me, but let's face it.
It's what you see now in the real world.

People always crave, hunger, thirst, starve, lust, desire, want.
For power (politics), money (corruption),
popularity / fame (social networking).

Thing is, as we crave, hunger, thirst, starve, lust, desire, want.

We forget how to live.
We forget how to be happy and contented with what we already have.

We're even taught to think outside the box,
maybe that's one of the reasons why we tend to forget
what was already inside it.

So tell me, how was your Saturday?
